A truck crash in Henty in the early hours of Saturday has left a 40-year-old man in hospital.

Shortly after 6am, police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene on the Olympic Highway, where it is understood a truck had been involved in a serious accident.
The incident is not believed to have involved any other vehicles.

The 40-year-old driver of the truck managed to extricate himself from the vehicle before the arrival of paramedics.
Attending crews assessed injuries sustained to his leg and right of his hip.
Ambulances conveyed the driver by road to Albury Base Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Police will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
