It comes after the ladder leaders posted an impressive 4-0 win against Boomers at Alexandra Park on Sunday in difficult and slippery conditions.
Midfielder Amy Salter scored the last goal of the game for St Pats to cement the win in the late stages of the second half, while Isabella Barbaro and Claire Mahoney also hit the back of the net earlier in the game.
The third goal of the match came by the way of a Boomers own goal.
Boomers' goal-keeper Janae Abel scrambled to stop several other attempts made by St Pats in the second half to further their lead, with some missed opportunities for the victors.
St Pats co-coach Brett Eastern was proud of his side's efforts, who just two rounds prior had only narrowly escaped with a 1-0 win in a late penalty against Boomers.
"It was always going to be a tough game," Eastern said.
"We focused on the things we've been working on all year and did them pretty well again.
"We're really proud of the girls.
"If we finish the season on top of the ladder then obviously we'll be happy, but we're not just focusing on that.
"We'll take each game as it comes, and if we're still there at the end of the year, then that's awesome.
"There's still two more games before finals, so we'll just keep building."
Eastern pinpointed St Pats defensive pressure as one of the major contributing factors in running away with the win, however admitted Boomers have made inroads this season.
"We like to get the ball wide and we did that really well," Eastern said.
"They (Boomers) had a few chances, but our scrambling defence was pretty good.
"They have definitely improved from the start of the season."
Two rounds now remain in the competition before the start of the cup finals as St Pats try to maintain the sort after number one position.
St Pats will now face Albury City and Wangaratta City to round out the season, with both side's sitting up among the top four teams in the competition this year.
Boomers continue to occupy sixth spot on the ladder with five wins and one draw for the season.
Boomers will now also have to face Wangaratta City and Albury City to round out their regular season.
Albury United hold onto second spot on the ladder with it remaining a tight knit competition for the race to finish the year in the top position.
