The win continues to put United in good stead heading into finals as they chase down leaders St Pats.
"We've really got nothing to lose," Albury United coach Tony Cigana said.
"I'd rather be chasing than to be the hunted at the top.

"We've been developing a couple of young ones into the senior grade over the last few games.
"We're just enjoying our football, which is pleasing."
Albury City battled hard to stay in the contest with an undermanned side, with United also down on numbers due to availability and injuries.
Albury United will now have the task of facing Melrose twice before the end of the season.
"They're a very good defensive unit and we're going to have our work cut out for us," Cigana said.
"No game is easy, especially coming to the end."
