Police and paramedics were called to The Bended Elbow about 1.10am on Sunday.
The victim, aged about 21, was punched in the face by a distinctively tall man of nearly two metres.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Detective Chief Inspector Winston Woodward said the attacker was holding a glass at the time.
"So we treat it as a glassing," he said.
"The CCTV footage is being seized in relation to that.
"The victim was treated by ambulance but declined to go to hospital."
The incident occurred during an altercation involving several men near the main bar.
The offender was aged about 40 to 50, with a skinny build, black and grey hair, white hoodie and jeans.
He hasn't been caught and police are seeking information.
An Ambulance NSW spokesman said the victim was conscious and breathing and had cuts to his face.
