Ricki Hullick had also been facing a charge of affray, but that was withdrawn by police and dismissed after she appeared in Albury Local Court this week.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to the assault, committed at Zed Bar in Albury's Dean Street on March 23.
For that, magistrate Rodney Brender convicted and fined Hullick, who has three children up to the age of four, $700.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Her offending all stemmed from a clash between two groups who were at the nightspot.
Hullick's group arrived about 10pm.
A brawl broke out later in the night, though Hullick's involvement was limited at first to her approaching a man who was "some distance" from the fight and having "heated words" with him.
"The accused Hullick," police said, "has commenced to punch (the victim) to the head with left and right punches."
He raised his hands to protect himself "from the barrage of punches".
The victims were at the bar in fancy dress to celebrate a man's birthday.
They and Hullick's group - she was with three men - sat at tables in a back smoking area.
Just before 11.30pm, a woman in the other group approached "a woman in pink" and removed her hat, then returned to her partner, the man celebrating his birthday.
She then returned to the woman to try to explain herself, but one of Hullick's friends was irate.
Seated on the opposite side, this man climbed over the table and assaulted the woman by pushing her to the chest.
As she fell, he punched her to the head, knocking her to the ground and igniting the brawl.
Police said another man in Hullick's group moved into the brawl and assaulted "numerous" people who were only trying to break-up the fight and protect the women involved.
Others in her group also went on the attack.
