PRICE ISN'T RIGHT
Henty coach Joel Price's season looks over.
After feeling off colour for some time, the veteran left-footer was recently diagnosed with glandular fever.
Henty's season is hanging by a thread with the Swampies needing to defeat CDHBU and Billabong Crows while relying on other results going their way.
CROW CALL
Billabong Crows youngster Zak Sartore is going places - to Ireland, France and England in fact.
The strongly-built Crow has been invited to be part of a junior international AFL touring squad next year.
Zak kicked three goals in the opening 10 minutes against Rand-Walbundrie-Walla's under-14s last weekend.
PRIDE OF THE LIONS
Former Culcairn premiership full-back Paul Smith came out of retirement to play with his sons, Noah and Ronan, in the reserves against Jindera last weekend.
Smith, who is principal at Albury North Public School, produced a handful of trademark defensive acts but one Lion insider said his statistics "weren't great at all".
Noah was quick to nominate his highlight of the match.
"Probably when Dad asked me if we could swap opponents because my opponent looked a bit slower than his," Noah said.
