After surviving a scare from Wodonga Saints last round, Rutherglen are determined to end the home and away season on a high.
The Cats scrambled to secure the three-goal win against the Saints without playing coach Emily Browne out on court, with the star midcourt player resting a minor back injury.
Browne said she was under instructions from her chiropractor to sit the game out last weekend in order to give her the best chance to be raring to go as the Cats prepare to launch into their finals campaign.
The playing coach aims to hopefully be back on court this weekend against Yackandandah and is hoping for a strong performance from her side for the final round of the season.
"It was just one of those days where the Saints showed up and we took a while to show up," Browne said.
"To the girls credit though, they fought hard to get over the line.
"It's always a good game against Yack and it's one of those games you want heading into finals.

"Hopefully we can get over the line and go into finals with some confidence."
Thurgoona, Rutherglen and Kiewa Sandy Creek are locked in for a finals spot while the last round could determine who makes the cut between Mitta United, Tallangatta and Wodonga Saints.
Mitta and last year's premiers Tallangatta are currently equal on points with percentage in favour of Mitta, while the Saints are just one win out of the competition's top five.
Browne agreed it's shaping up to be an interesting finals series, with each side bringing their own strengths out on the court this season.
"We seem to match-up against Thurgoona quite well, where as for some reason we just seem not to be able to get those match-ups right with Kiewa," Browne said.
"I think both teams are the teams to beat, and you can never underestimate who's fourth and fifth.
"They're the teams that can often come through and knock you over.
"We're not going into finals over confident.
"We're definitely expecting hard games each week until we can hopefully make the final one."
Rutherglen and Yackandandah will meet for one last time this season in Rutherglen, with Yackandandah not in the running to play finals this season.
The other games for the last round of the Tallangatta and District Netball Association season will see Beechworth meet Kiewa Sandy Creek, Chiltern to go head to head with Tallangatta, Dederang Mt Beauty to host Thurgoona, Mitta United to clash with Barnawartha and Wahgunyah to tackle Wodonga Saints.
All of the league's netball games will kickoff at 2:50pm on Saturday, with finals to start next weekend.
