Raiders and Rovers are equal on points, but the former holds a percentage lead of 10.4.
If they can beat the second-placed Tigers, the percentage gap to Rovers would be virtually insurmountable, even if the Hawks upset Wangaratta on Sunday.
"As a group we're not looking forward too far to what we want to do, it's just a matter of playing well against Albury," Raiders' coach Jarrod Hodgkin said.
Raiders have made two changes, recalling former Yackandandah player Johann Jarratt and lightly-built youngster Tom Bracher.
