Victoria Police have confirmed a woman has died after a two-car crash in Wodonga.
Emergency services were called to a head-on crash between a Toyota Hilux and Holden utility on Bandiana Link Road about 1pm.
A male driver and his female passenger of the Holden utility were both taken to hospital.
IN OTHER NEWS:
But the passenger, believed to be aged in her 70s, died in hospital.
The driver of the Toyota Hilux, an 18-year-old Wodonga man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are currently on scene and Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are enroute.
Bandiana Link Road is currently closed between the Hume Highway and Anzac Parade.

A woman has been left in a critical condition after a head-on collision between two utilities in Wodonga.
Emergency services were called to the Bandiana Link about 1pm on Friday.
The road remains closed to traffic.
A white single cab utility and a dual cab Holden Colorado collided about a kilometre north of Anzac Parade, on an 80km/h stretch of road.
An air ambulance had been dispatched to transport her to Melbourne.
An 18-year-old man was also taken to Albury hospital in a stable condition with spinal and head injuries.
A man was taken to Wodonga hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash

Leading Senior Constable Melissa Seach said the incident was being looked at.
"Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash," she said.
"Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information or dash cam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
Police, firefighters, paramedics and volunteers from the SES remain on scene.
The impact caused extensive damage to both vehicles and forced a rear cage on the white utility to dislodge onto the roadside.
