Principal Donna Wright said the whole school population, about 285 students and 25 staff members, joined in the fun.
J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter books remain a popular choice for costumes as well as princesses among the younger students.
The Bandiana staff members were all inspired by the Mr and Little Miss books, with Miss Sunshine, Miss Busy, Mr Grumpy, Miss Tickle, Mr Funny and Miss Shy among the representatives.
