Killing Heidi's Ella Hooper has called on the concert goers who yelled at appearance activist and author Carly Findlay to apologise.

The singer said she was disappointed to hear about Findlay's experience at last week's Melbourne gig and made contact immediately.
"We go way back," Hooper told The Border Mail.
"We're actually going to catch up this weekend at our next show and make sure she's got tickets.
"I would have put Carly on the door anyway if I knew she was coming because we actually do know each other quite well."
Findlay, who grew up in Walla, said she still felt "pretty shaken" by two separate verbal attacks within days and cancelled a planned media appearance.
"The taxi driver said he was scared by my face (Wednesday) and the people at Killing Heidi yelled at my friend and I for me having a seat near them (Friday)," she tweeted on Monday.
"This is exhausting."

Findlay lives with a rare skin condition and has written about her experiences and other people's reactions in her book Say Hello, released earlier this year.
"I can't think of a day outside of the house when I haven't been stared at, intruded upon or abused because of my appearance," she wrote.

The author did not wish to comment further about the latest incidents on Tuesday, but tweeted her thanks for people's supportive messages.
Hooper had not been aware on the night of the situation at St Kilda's Esplanade Hotel (The Espy).
"We're in a bit of a backstage bubble when we're at work but we do feel responsible and we absolutely feel like it's such a clash with the tone of the band that we've created," she said.
"I trust Carly's judgement.
"The people, even though I have no idea who they were or what their story was, they do have to have a think about their behaviour and an apology would be ideal."
Hooper, who will perform in Wodonga next March, said Killing Heidi didn't plan to seek those involved.
"Carly has raised awareness about it and just told her truth and I feel like she's happy with that and we're more focused on making sure she has a great time next time and for all our fans going forward," she said.
"It's just a shame because I certainly don't think it's the norm at our shows.
"You can choose your friends, you can't always choose your fans, but generally the Killing Heidi community is the opposite of that.
"Do remember that our shows are an extremely inviting place where people's space needs to be respected and protected and it will be.
"We're proud to have fans like Carly - someone who's outspoken, someone who stands up for what's right."
