The 16-year-old was recently offered a position as a midfielder in the Wanderers Australia squad to tour the UK and France next year.
"The purpose of the tour is for athletes from all over Australia to come together as a team, meeting new people in countries visited, see the world, and improve current soccer skills through an array of new coaching and playing styles and techniques experienced," Smith said.
The Albury High School student has been playing soccer for nine years, starting her senior career as a 13-year-old and winning the senior best and fairest at Albury Hotspurs at 14.

She's also spent time at Murray United in an all-boys league in under-15s and 16s, before making the final trial stages at South Melbourne.
This year, Smith was included in the starting lineup for Wagga City Wanderers' senior team in Canberra's WNPL, but due to travel and school demands, returned to the AWFA with Boomers in the senior women's league.
She departs Australia on New Year's Eve and will return on January 17.
The trip also includes sight-seeing and a tour of Etihad Stadium - the home of English Premier League giants Manchester City.
"The tour cost is roughly $5000 per player, which includes return airfares, accommodation, some meals, uniforms and all internal transfers within the UK and France," Smith added.
"Any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated to allow me to fulfil this amazing opportunity presented to me."
