The Opals, WNBA and WNBL superstar is one of two legends to be inducted this year, alongside sporting administrator Bob Elphinston.
Jackson said the honour was particularly special having grown up starting her basketball career in country NSW.
She also joins her mum Maree who has previously been recognised.

"Looking back it's bizarre because I'm at the part of my life where my career is over and you start to feel nostalgic," Jackson said.
"I think NSW is particularity special because I came up through the ranks and basketball pathways.
"It's special for that reason, but it's also special because my mother is in the NSW Hall of Fame and my sons will be able to see me get it."
Jackson is a three-time WNBA MVP and two time champion, a four-time WNBL MVP and six-time champion and added coach to her credentials this season.
11 others have been inducted into the Hall of Fame this year including a combination of players, contributors and technical officials, as well as a coach.
All of the Hall of Fame inductees will gather for a dinner set to be held in November.
