Leading Senior Constable Neil Hobbs, of Wodonga, said the black Kia Cerato came out of Harris Road and travelled north about 8.20pm.
"It's seen us and accelerated at high speed even before we activated our emergency lights," he said.
"It had to weave between a couple of cars, no indicating, as it's travelled north and it's accelerated to about 110km/h and that's also as it's crossed into the 60km/h zone."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The car was last seen turning towards South Albury.
"Obviously with the way he was driving we were concerned for other road users and the driver himself," Leading Senior Constable Hobbs said.
"Just totally disgusted with the way he was driving."
Witnesses can contact Wodonga Police on (02) 6049 2600.
