Erika Hansen has stepped down as co-ordinator of Chiltern Antique Fair, which opens Friday, August 23, and continues Saturday and Sunday in the Memorial Hall.
Mrs Hansen became involved in the late 1990s after attending a Corowa antiques show with her late husband Clive, soon after the original Chiltern fair held in May had ceased.
"We met some of the traders who used to be at Chiltern," she said.
"They said they missed the Chiltern fair and on the way home, my husband said 'We could do it'."

In those early days, Mrs Hansen admitted "I was green".
"In the first couple of years, we used to have round table conference with all the traders to see how I went and what we could change," she said.
"I couldn't do it without support. Now it's been running pretty smoothly."
The 2019 fair looks likely to continue this trend with a full hall of 24 sites offering antiques such as jewellery, prints, toys and books.
Chiltern Tourism and Development community engagement officer Karin Berrysmith praised Mrs Hansen's contribution.
"I understudied her last year and I still have her around at this stage to be able to talk to her about 'What do we do about this, what do we do about that?'," she said.
"My background is in event and project management, so this is a natural segue."
Traders travel from as far away as Melbourne and South Australia for the fair, which will provide Friday night dinner for stall holders.
"We do that to assist the traders, they can be in the hall setting up, pop out the back room, have a bite to eat, come back in and they're ready to go for the opening night," she said.
A survey last year showed weekend visitors came from Queensland as well as the Border and North East.
"We wanted to get a gauge of what they'd like to see in the future," Ms Berrysmith said.
"We'd like to be able to end up having the other old buildings, the old courthouse and the senior citizens hall filled with traders as well."
