Australian Frontline Machinery will offload three warehouses full of military vehicles and spare parts at Thurgoona from October 4 to 6.
Australian Frontline Machinery director Morgan Parker said the ex-military gear would be displayed in new Thurgoona premises for the first time.
"It's the biggest auction of military spare parts ever held in Australia," he said.
"It's the largest number of brand new engines and gearboxes ever offered.
"It's also a great opportunity to bring people together for a weekend and to clear some of the military's spare parts and vehicles."
Mr Parker said more than 50 Land Rover Perentie vehicles, Land Rover 110 made only for the Australian Army, would be on offer as part of five online auctions.
He said Defence had moved towards Mercedes G wagons, meaning the Perentie Land Rover vehicles needed to be cleared out.
"The Perentie Land Rover is a special issue by the military and they're only available at our auctions," Mr Parker said.
The range of Perentie Land Rovers will include roadworthy vehicles, new and second-hand parts and unique military style additions, plus a range of non-roadworthy vehicles.
OTHER LIFESTYLE NEWS:
Mr Parker said among other weekend highlights would be the largest Land Rover convoy in history.
He said participants would join a 60-kilometre convoy to Buller Wines at Rutherglen on the Saturday from 1pm.
"It's an opportunity for Land Rover owners to compare their vehicles; some people go to a lot of trouble to pimp them up," he said.
"There's a lot of variance in Land Rovers."
Five online auctions will offer inventory and spare parts; trailers and fittings; vehicles; rotables: engines, gearboxes and fittings; and rotables.
Australian Frontline Machinery has been running auctions of ex-military vehicles and equipment for six years, largely from Sydney premises.
Mr Parker said it would host future auctions at the Thurgoona site, either monthly or bimonthly.
"We wanted to set up closer to Bandiana, where the vehicles and spare parts could be more easily accessed," Mr Parker said.
"We have five warehouses and it will be easier than taking the public in and out of the Army base."
Registration for the Perentie Day and Auction will allow people to join the Land Rover convoy, Perentie Swap Meet and gain access to the auction items.
The National Perentie Meet 2019 will be held at 17 Hoffman Drive, Thurgoona.
