Star Bullioh full-forward Ash Murray dominated the home and away series, kicking 10 or more goals on eight occasions.
The former Hume league sharpshooter also kicked nine against Cudgewa in the opening round of the season.
That should give Murray at least 20 votes, maybe more.
Last year's winner Zac Burhop topped the count with 22 votes.
In a worrying sign for Murray, Bullioh co-coach Hamish Clark took out the Bulldogs' best and fairest award last weekend with Josh Walters and Murray running second and third respectively.
Clark is a huge chance of winning after finishing runner-up in the league medal last season.
He played 12 of the 15 matches and kicked 21 goals.
Kelvin Wallace is another Bulldog to have enjoyed a strong season.
Cudgewa's Dayne Carey looms as the biggest threat to the Bullioh connection.
Carey has been sensational in his debut season in the league, starring through the midfield as well as kicking 42 goals.
Blues' coach Brayden Carey shouldn't be far off the pace either.
Federal's Andrew Saliba, Tom McKimmie and Keiran Brennan, Corryong's Peter Jeffries and Mitch Harris and Tumbarumba's Jake Webster and Reece Borg should poll well for their respective clubs.
Co-coach Ash Greenhill could pick up a handful of votes for winless Border-Walwa.
