Nine days ago, Scott landed a training double with Carano and Hail The Hero at Albury, but this time they have to meet in the same race.
She will also start Supplyzing in another race giving her a chance of another double, but the odds of landing the quinella with her last start winners are just as high as last week.
Carano, who has won two of her three starts since joining the Scott stable, will start from gate one allowing her the chance for another all the way victory for four kilogram claiming apprentice jockey, Damon Budler.
His allowance will reduce Carano's weight to 58 kilograms from an ideal draw which Scott believes gives her the edge.
"It's not ideal they race against each other, but the mile suits and they are both fine after last week," Scott said.
"She will lead and prove hard to run down, while Hail The Hero will have to try and catch her."
Leading jockey Blaike McDougall will take over on Hail The Hero who carried 61 kilograms to victory last week.
One of the main chances, Maid Of Ore, is ready to fire at her third start back from a spell after a close fourth at Hawkesbury which followed a first-up run in a Highway Handicap in Sydney.
The consistent Bravado Lass has been placed at her past three starts and is due for a change of luck, while last start winner Helstar has been in peak form.
Helstar isn't a confirmed starter and neither is another of the main contenders, Gypsy Miss.
Scott believes her duo are ready to show up again.
