Fronted by Lizzie Mack and founding Wiggles member Murray Cook (Red Wiggle), The Soul Movers will perform at St Ives Hotel in Wodonga on September 21 as part of their Bona Fide - If I Could Ever national tour.
After a two-year spell, The Soul Movers reformed in 2012 when Cook joined the fold.
Mack said Cook had contacted her via Messenger on Facebook before jamming with the band over a couple of weeks.
"By 2013 we were up and running again," she said.
"Our 2017 album Testify was recorded in The Wiggles studios when they were on tour!"
Aside from Mack and Cook, The Soul Movers includes bassman Andy Newman (The Visitors), Marko Simec on keys (Waiting For Guinness) and drummer Stu Wilson (Loose Pills).
With Bona Fide (2019), The Soul Movers offer an album that features many hit-making musicians such as legendary "Swampers" David Hood on bass, Spooner Oldham on keys and Milton Sledge on drums as well as Kelvin Holly, Little Richard's guitarist of 20 years, on guitar.
MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:
Mack said Wodonga fans could expect plenty of laughs and dancing at the St Ives gig.
"We'll play a smorgasbord mix of songs from all of our albums as well as some new songs," Mack said.
"We always have the now grown-up The Wiggles fans at our shows.
"Everyone wants to dance with Murray; they go nuts for him!
"They transform into four-year-olds again, oblivious to who is watching them dance.
"There is a lot of joy, energy and excitement."
The Soul Movers will raise funds for drought relief at their Wodonga gig.
Tickets for the St Ives gig are available online.
