Garden Market, Kiewa Street car park, Albury, Sunday, September 8, 8am to noon
A special Garden Market is springing up in the Kiewa Street car park. The weekly Kiewa Street Market will offer an extra 25 stallholders selling plants and garden equipment. Run by the Rotary Clubs of Albury North and Belvoir Wodonga, the Garden Market will raise money for the Belvoir Special School - Life Skills House in Wodonga. Proceeds will help to buy furnishings for the house. Come on down on Sunday and throw an extra gold coin in the bucket for this worthy cause. Live entertainment.
SNOW BUSINESS
Before you put your skis and snowboards into storage until next season, head to Wodonga. Paul's Ski Shop owner Paul Oberin will give a free demonstration on hot waxing, rub-on waxing, polishing ski edges and maintaining bases at Repair Cafe Albury-Wodonga. The demonstration will run 11.30am to 12.30pm and applies only to downhill skis. Tickets are free but numbers are limited with bookings via eventbrite.com.au.
WITH STRINGS
Marshall McGuire - Harpist, St Matthew's Church, Albury, Sunday, September 8, 2pm
Harpist Marshall McGuire will mesmerize audiences in Albury. As part of the 2019 Albury Chamber Music Festival Concert Series, McGuire will perform in the third and final show in St Matthew's Concert Series. He has performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, English String Orchestra, Les Talens Lyriques, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Australia Ensemble.

The Sons of Motherless Goats is a blues based rock band that has been rocking venues for many years. With driving bass licks, soaring guitar and haunting sax solos, held together with dynamic drumming, this outfit will have you up on the dance floor all night.

Five grades of netball and three grades of country footy will contest Upper Murray grand finals. Cudgewa and Bullioh meet in the seniors from 2.15pm. All clubs are invited to enter the under-11s contest at half-time.
