A Garden Market at the Kiewa Street Market on Sunday will raise money for the Belvoir Special School - Life Skills House.
Rotary Clubs of Albury North and Belvoir-Wodonga will run the Garden Market to raise money to buy furnishings for the house.
Rotary Club of Belvoir-Wodonga past president Trevor Pearce said the building was progressing well and on track to finish by the end of the year.
"At this point in time the house is at lock-up stage, with plaster installation almost complete," he said.
MORE COMMUNITY NEWS:
About 25 stallholders will offer plants, gardening clothes and equipment at the Garden Market at the rear of the Albury undercover car park site.
About 75 regular stallholders will offer fresh produce, art and craft, collectables, food and coffee. Live music will feature Remnantz and Nathan Vaccaro.
Last financial year the Kiewa Street Market generated more than $150,000 for Rotary to invest in community projects at home and abroad.
Recipients were Cancer Carers Accommodation, Wodonga Hospital, Wodonga Men's Shed and Belvoir Special School - Life Skills House.
The Life Skills House is a joint venture between Belvoir Special School and the Rotary Clubs of Belvoir-Wodonga, Wodonga Central, Wodonga West and Albury-Wodonga Sunrise.
