Holbrook and District Fundraisers' Russell Parker said the money from last month's event would assist Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust ($15,436.83), Bowel Cancer Australia ($11,686.83), Research4Riney ($11,686.83) and Fight MND ($22,221.83).
The funds were distributed in a presentation on Wednesday.
"Everyone was just blown away by the generosity of the community and I think the main thing we got out of it was just a great community day," Mr Parker said.
"Raising money was great, raising awareness was great, they're all fantastic but I think the most feedback we got was it was just great to see the Holbrook community there and it was across all sections.
"The farmers were there, the townies, all having a great fun day."
The August 18 event included an MND slide and a highly-anticipated helicopter drop of 600 tennis balls for prizes.
"We built it up pretty well, we had contact with the helicopter pilot so we knew he was on his way," Mr Parker said.
"You could hear it before you could see it and then all of a sudden it appeared, did a couple of loops of the football oval before dropping the balls right in the middle, which was a spectacle in itself, these bright almost-fluorescent green tennis balls, all 600 of them."

A charity auction of goods valued at about $15,000 garnered close to double that amount.
"That showed the attitude of people, even if something was valued at $200, they were happy to pay $300 for it," he said.
"For a small town to raise $60,000 is just exceptional."
