North Albury has continued its tradition as a breeding ground for young talent with two nominees this season, with defender Breanna Heagney joining goal attack Mia Duryea.
Duryea has averaged just under 20 goals a game this season, while Heagney has been a consistent performer in goal keeper.

The Hoppers duo are also joined by Wangaratta's Amelia Reilly, Wodonga's Maddie McFarlane and Yarrawonga's Tilly Kennedy.
Reilly has stepped up for the reigning premiers in wing defence this season, while Kennedy has also had a strong year in wing defence for the Pigeons, with both sides in the semi-finals.
McFarlane has been nominated for her efforts as a shooter for the Bulldogs, racking up 161 goals.
The Rising Star will be announced at the Morris Medal on September 16.
