The Roos stunned the reigning premiers by 17-goals at Birallee Park after leading the scoreline at every break.
It was a battle of the league's highest scoring goal shooters at either end of the court, with Grace Senior racking up 48 for the Roos and Amanda Umanksi sending through 31 for the Magpies.
It took Senior's tally to 787 and Umanski's to 750 this season.
Corowa-Rutherglen coach Georgie Bruce was delighted after the game in what has been a breakout season for her side.
"It's awesome, we've never been in an A-grade grand final," Bruce said.
"It's been four of five years in the making.
"We just had a change-up, a different way of looking at how we want to play our game and attract new players to the club.
"Obviously Rome wasn't built in a day.
"We've had a group of girls that have kept playing our game and we now have three teams in the finals, so we must be doing something right."
ALSO IN SPORT:
Last year's Toni Wilson Medallist Sophie Hanrahan was sensational in defence as she worked tirelessly to shut down Wangaratta's shooters.
Wangaratta's Isabelle Byrne had a standout game in the midcourt for the Magpies, going head-to-head with Corowa-Rutherglen's Brooke Bice.
Bruce admitted her side found their rhythm right from the first whistle with the grand final spot on the line.
"The girls were on song from the start," Bruce said.
"We didn't get sucked into anything else, we just went out there and executed it and came away with the result."
Corowa-Rutherglen finished the home and away season minor premiers and have only conceded one game to date to Wangaratta.
The Magpies are still in with a chance to meet the Roos again in the grand final as they now await a preliminary final clash next weekend.
Wangaratta know all too well the excitement of making an Ovens and Murray A-grade netball grand final when they made history last year to claim the club's first with a win against Albury.
The Magpies have continued that form into this season with little change to their side, losing just three games.
Two of them coming at the hands of the Roos.
Corowa-Rutherglen will now have a weekend off to refresh themselves before they attempt to take out their first premiership on Sunday, September 22.
