A woman has been hospitalised after being knocked over by a reversing car in Wodonga.

Police, paramedics, firefighters and the SES were called to Hovell Street about 10.50am on Monday.
The driver, 90, appeared to have reversed his car after his wife got out near the library.

The passenger door hit the woman, pushing her to the ground.
Police said it appeared the woman, 82, wasn't run over by the vehicle's wheels, but had been pushed to the ground.
She remained on the ground for about 30 minutes before being taken to hospital.
Jim Carroll walked out of the library soon after the incident.
"It was very confronting," he said.
"From what I can gather, he was letting her off at the library and was stopped.
"Instead of putting the car in park, he put it in reverse and backed over her as she was getting the walker out of the back.
"She was conscious and when I left she was quite stressed.
"I couldn't see any visible injuries."
The driver travelled with his wife to hospital.
Police took measurements of the crash scene.
The driver's Mitsubishi Magna smashed into a pole and the front passenger side window smashed.
