The East Albury child care centre has had a $870,000 face lift and was officially re-opened on Tuesday after eight months of construction.
The new-look centre includes bigger, brighter children's rooms, new specially designed children's bathrooms, outdoor learning spaces and undercover access.
President Kate Chandler said the children have been back at the Woodstock Court centre for two weeks.
"The kids are loving it, we have had a lovely time in a temporary facility, but everyone was excited to be coming back home and they have really settled in well," she said.
"We have been able to improve all our learning rooms here with new flooring, new paint throughout and the rooms have been enhanced with improved natural lighting.

"We have also been able to improve our entrance and our reception area which really just makes the centre feel so much more inclusive and inviting for everyone."
Ms Chandler said eight months "is a long time in a child's life".
"Obviously it is a big transition for a child to move locations but they have all done really well and I think our parents have just enjoyed being back and seeing the new and improved facilities," she said.
The new centre, which caters for 120 families, replaced the outdated facilities that were demolished to make way for the improvements.
The revamp of the council-owned property was funded by AlburyCity, the Yarrunga community and the federal government, with council providing more than $600,000 of the total cost.
Albury Council mayor Kevin Mack said council has helped the centre enter a new era.
"Early learning is critical in the development of children's lives so it's fantastic to have worked with the government and the team at Yarrunga to develop these fantastic new facilities," he said.
The centre is holding an open day for the public to walk through their new facilities in the morning of October 12.
