The Hawks shot the first goal of the premiership decider at Sandy Creek and maintained a lead for the entirety of the game to be victorious by four-points.
The Bulldogs staged a fight back in the last quarter to get within two goals, but some on-target shooting from Hawks' captain Haylee Penny saw the victors out of trouble.
Kiewa Sandy-Creek midcourt player Abbey O'Brien was crowned best on court for her efforts.
O'Brien admitted last year's grand final loss to Tallangatta was a driving force in the team's on court performance.
"It's always nice being on this end on grand final day," O'Brien said.
"We've worked really hard all season and to top it off with a win is amazing.

"Without the support of family, friends and the people we have around us, we wouldn't be where we are."
It was also a fairytale ending for Kiewa Sandy-Creek coach and TDNA coach of the year Kath Evans, who was relieved her side was able to hold on after the final quarter scare from the Dogs.
"It was very nerve racking," Evans said.
"We were watching the clock very closely and just hoping we'd get there.
"We know what it feels like to lose, so winning this one has made up for a bit of that pain.
"Today was our day and we're certainly happy that it was.
"To Thurgoona's credit, we knew that it was going to be a really hard fought game of netball, and that's exactly what it proved to be.
"I'm just wrapped for the girls and wrapped with how the year has gone."
Ellen Cook's defensive pressure played a major role at pivotal points of the game for the Hawks, while Thurgoona defender Megan Tschirpig also fought with determination.
Bulldogs' shooter Mardi Nicholson finished the day with 15 goals, while Hawks' goal shooter Haylee Penny shot 25.
Hawks' Darcy Aumont and Dogs' Kristen Andrews also stepped up on the grand final stage in the last game of the season.
Thurgoona finished off the home and away season as the competition's minor premiers.
