But Albury Local Court has been told that the minimum length for such an order, as dictated by the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act, should have been six months.
Maksymow fronted court to be re-sentenced.

Defence lawyer Bronte Winn also told magistrate Imad Abdul-Karim that Maksymow wanted his community service hours converted into a fine.
Ms Winn said that was because Maksymow, 26, was keen to move to Melbourne as soon as possible.
Mr Abdul-Karim agreed with the submission, removing the need for Maksymow to complete the 100 hours of unpaid work and replacing this with the equivalent of a $2000 fine.
The then-Henty footballer had pleaded guilty to a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm for attacking the victim at her Arunta Place, Springdale Heights, home on the morning of September 8, 2018.
He had slapped her to the face.
