Josh Boone led the way with 22 points and LaMelo Ball 21, as the Hawks outlasted South East Melbourne 109-98.
Ball pulled off a number of exciting plays in the win, shooting 7/11 as well as being flawless from the free throw line.
A strong crowd turned out for the match.
On Friday, Ball again led the way, but they were outclassed by Melbourne United at Ballarat.
The emerging US star had 14 points in 22 minutes of court time, while AJ Ogilvy finished with 12 points and five assists and Sam Froling topped the rebounds with eight.
United surged to a 36-18 lead in the first quarter and the Hawks never recovered going down 111-70, as Casey Prather did the damage with 31 points.
