The star Wangaratta defender was sublime in her side's 3-0 victory against league champions St Pats in Sunday's decider at Jelbart Park.
While Bianca Mulqueen was the hero with a hat trick, Scott was delighted with the performance from the entire side.
"To captain this group of girls is the most amazing experience I could ever wish for," Scott said.
"We're such a tight-knit group of girls.
"Coming into that game and all the social things building up to it, we grew as a team this past week as well.
"To win the cup is going to stay with us forever.
"Our main goal was to not concede anything. If you don't concede, you'll win the game.
"I had full faith in Bianca (Mulqueen), Alice (Townsend) and Colette (Suter) to score and we didn't concede, which was good."
Scott said everyone involved will stick together as a unit, but expects it to be a different looking side next season.
