Harris polled 40 votes to hold off Brookers coach Matt Sharp on 35.
The experienced midfielder crossed to Holbrook last season from Lavington after Sharp was appointed coach.
Harris played predominantly as a midfielder in his first season at the Brookers.
But the clever play maker relished a switch to defence this season and set-up a lot of the Brookers' attacking moves off half-back.
The Brookers finished fourth after losing the first semi-final to Culcairn.
Their thirds will play in this weekend's grand final against Osborne.
Meanwhile, Bill Heriot and Rick Murphy were inducted as life members of the club.
