A woman has been arrested over her role in the alleged murder of William Chaplin nearly a decade ago.

The 32-year-old was taken into custody at Albury Police Station on Wednesday.
She has been charged with being an accessory after the fact, and is the second person arrested over the matter.

Mr Chaplin hasn't been seen since early to mid May 2010.
Police recently recovered human remains at a property in Gerogery, near where Mr Chaplin was living at the time of his disappearance.
The woman will face Albury court on Thursday.
