Lavington's Macca Hallows turned 17 on September 11.
"In my junior years, I've played in three grand finals already," he said yesterday from the venue at Norm Minns Oval.
"I know a little bit about the pressure, but not to this extent, this is very new.
"I'm just embracing this week and being really excited to get out there and play a great game of footy against a quality opposition."
Hallows boasts one win and two losses from his junior grand finals.
The Year 11 student has played nine games this season, including the last four, after debuting as a 15-year-old last year.
"That was a bit of a stepping stone, I was younger and a lot smaller," he said.
"I feel like I've developed, my body's got a little bit bigger, I'm a bit quicker, so that's definitely helped me."
