Wangaratta recalled Daniel Boyle, as expected, for suspended ruckman Zac Leitch, while Lavington is unchanged, although in an interesting development veteran Adam Butler has been named an emergency, despite not playing for 99 days with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta will be out to extend a unique finals record at its Norm Minns Oval.
The Pies have already become the first team in the past 20 years to restrict opposition sides to individual goalkickers in successive games.
Eight Albury players converted in the score of 8.8 (56) in the qualifying final, while Lavington also didn't have a multiple goalkicker in their tally of 5.11 (41) in the second semi.
The Panthers have averaged just 55 points in their last two games against the red-hot favourites.
The Pies hold a seven-match winning streak against Lavington.
In that losing run, the Panthers average only 70 points.
Wangaratta fell in last year's decider to Albury by eight points when ambushed, so you wouldn't think it could happen again.
"There's every chance of that happening again," captain Michael Newton said.
"Lavington's been the best side all year."
Wangaratta is the only team to beat the Panthers.
The Pies are chasing a 16th premiership, while Lavington is after number five, with the forecast mostly sunny.
