Samone Watson chose not to appear on Monday via a video link to Albury Local Court from Bathurst jail, where she has been held since last week.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Defence lawyer David Mulligan asked magistrate Rodney Brender to make brief service orders.
"There's no application for her release," Mr Mulligan said.
Watson was further remanded in custody to November 19, when Mr Mulligan said she would appear via a video link.
The 32-year-old is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
She is the second person arrested over the death of Mr Chaplin back in 2010.
He was last seen in May of that year.
The first, just days earlier, was a 25-year man extradited from Queensland to be charged with murder, allegedly carried out when he was 16.
A second man was allegedly involved in Mr Chaplin's death.
Police recently recovered human remains at a Gerogery property.
