AFL North East Border football development manager Jeff Chandler said the squad of 45 has come together nicely after starting with 110 boys back in March.
"We think we have a couple of competitive sides, so hopefully the boys will put their best foot forward, enjoy the couple of games and take something away from it," Chandler said.
"We're really grateful for all of the effort our coaching staff put in."
The NEB girls V-Line cup squad lost their first game on Monday to Southern Stingrays and will play again on Thursday against Richmond NGA Pioneers.
