Incredibly, the former AFL player was able to claim the honour despite only playing 10 matches for the season.
Brennan edged out Swampie ball magnet Heath Ohlin for the award.
Ohlin is a dual best and fairest winner and will replace Joel Price at the helm next season.

Price has signed as coach of Violet Town in the Kyabram league.
The outgoing coach said it wasn't a surprise to him that Brennan won the best and fairest despite missing almost half the season.
"To be honest it wasn't a huge shock that he won," Price said.
"He was a class act every match he played and had a huge impact.
"In my six years coaching in the Hume league, he is clearly the best player in the competition."
Brennan polled in every match he played including the maximum votes on five occasions.
"Unfortunately he wasn't there," Price said.
"But the club organised a Skype video call on the big screen and Jared made a speech."
Brennan is yet to signal his intentions for next season.
Warren Bartlett was successful in the reserves while Georgia Lurhs won the A-grade netball award.
Rachael Terlich finished runner-up.
