The former GrainGrowers policy group member and Winchendonvale producer is currently standing for a board position on the GrainGrowers board.
Three candidates have nominated for a casual vacancy for the northern region.
While four candidates, including Mr McCormack, will stand for two positions representing the southern region.

Mr McCormack said he has sent out letters to prospective voters and is keen to represent the Riverina and southern NSW and to tackle the tough issues such as water and grain exports. He said representation of this region was valuable to the industry in general.
Members can vote online or by post until Monday, October, 7 or in person at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Northern candidates include, Christopher Joseph of Highfields, Queensland, Charles Blomfield of Marthaguy and Nigel Corish of Goondiwindi, Queensland. Southern region candidates include, Andrew Rice of Parkes, Bob McCormack, Brett Hosking of Quambatook, Victoria and Julia Hausler of Warracknabeal, Victoria.
The results of the director elections will be announced on October, 9 in Bendigo.
