Melrose captain Adam Waters is a three-time club best and fairest winner.
The classy goal-scorer picked up 44 votes to finish ahead of Sam Brosolo (37) and AWFA Star Goalkeeper Jack Sherwill (32) to capture the top award last night.
Waters also coached the club's senior women's team to its best season in recent history, taking points off every rival outfit.

Melinda Wilson claimed the senior women's best and fairest in her first season at Melrose Park, playing a number of positions.
Wilson collected 49 votes to edge out Alex Davis on 42, while rising star Chelsea Ehlers rounded out the top three with 27.
Kade Rixon is yet to commit to a fifth season as senior men's coach at Melrose and is a possibility to step down from the top job.
