Fresh off a huge season on the football field, Chiltern co-coach Ricky Whitehead has committed to a summer of cricket.
Whitehead booted 131 goals for the Swans in the Tallangatta and District league this year on his way to winning the club's best and fairest and is itching to continue that form with Barnawartha-Chiltern in the Cricket Albury Wodonga District competition.
Miners' co-captain Chris Hartshorn is excited to see what he'll dish up.
"He's been to most training sessions, so he's definitely keen," Hartshorn said.
"Like the big full-forward he is, he hits the ball pretty hard and bowls pretty quickly.
"He'll be pretty good for us."

Hartshorn expects Whitehead to take the new ball or bowl first change throughout the campaign.
"He hasn't played too much cricket because he's concentrated on his footy, so he'll be a bit raw, but he'll certainly go well I think," he said.
The Miners returned to the competition after a year out and narrowly missed a spot in the finals last season.
"We've got an A-grade side, so that's all we're rolling with. We're hoping to get B-grade as well, but we'll see how we go," Hartshorn said.
"We've pretty much got the same core, we're just trying to convince a few more."
Sean Lappin will coach the side after leading the Miners' run-scoring last season.
"He coached the seconds for Chiltern in the footy and got the taste for it, so he said he'll take it on," Hartshorn added.
Barnawartha-Chiltern travels to Mount Beauty for the opening round next weekend.
