The Cobram man remains in a critical condition in the Royal Melbourne Hospital after his Mitsubishi Triton utility collided with a Toyota Surf on the Murray Valley Highway at 6.30am.
A hospital spokeswoman confirmed on Monday the man's condition had not changed.
He remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 28-year-old Tallangatta man, is also still in hospital in Melbourne.
The Alfred Hospital confirmed the man was in a stable condition.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash which closed the highway for six hours.
