Albury-born country singer songwriter Hayley Jensen will return to the Border next month to perform at the inaugural Sunshine Walk.

The former Australian Idol and The Voice contestant and Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund ambassador will form part of the live entertainment at the free Sunshine Walk Family Fun Day at Hovell Tree Park on November 24.
After performing at the Sunshine Walk Family Fun Day in 2017, Jensen said it was an honour to be asked back for the 20 kilometre walk to raise funds and awareness for the cancer centre trust fund.
"It means the world to me to be able to support the trust and to be part of the Family Fun Day," she said.
"I know I am helping to raise much needed funds for the local community.
Jensen's latest album features a heartfelt ballad You're With Me in memory of her father and Wodonga man Rod Thomas who died from mantle cell lymphoma in April 2016.

"My Dad sadly passed away just before the cancer centre was finished, but always wished he was able to receive his treatment and get the support he needed closer to home," Jensen said.
"If I can in some way help another family to have their treatment at home then I know I am honouring his legacy.
"It is giving a priceless gift that can make all the difference to someone's quality of life."
Other entertainment at the family fun day will include Yackandandah singer songwriter Pete Denahy and Border personality Steve Bowen .
There will be face painting, jumping castles, traditional games such as sack races and a tug-of-war, and food and drink vendors with the day kicking off at 11am.
The opening ceremony starts at 7am before the 20 kilometre walk begins at 8am and five kilometre walk at 10am.
Jensen won an Australian Independent Country Music Award in 2016 and last year was a finalist in the Country Music Channel Awards for New Artist of the Year.
Her fourth solo album, Turning Up The Dial, was the third highest selling Australian Country Album, and second highest selling digital album on iTunes Country charts.
The lead single, Summertime Soundtrack, has accumulated more than 212,000 streams across digital platforms, and her last single Next Big Thing hit number one in the KIX Country charts.
