Dad pleads with police, still gets double demerits
A father with his four kids and wife in the car has pleaded with police to "go easy on him" after he was caught doing 50km/h over the speed limit.

The driver was detected doing 152km/h in his black Toyota Kluger at 6.48pm tonight on the Hume Highway at Table Top.
When stopped by police, Highway Patrol inspected the vehicle which showed his wife and four children in the vehicle.

"The driver pleaded with police to go easy on him," NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command said on their Facebook page.
The man was slapped with an infringement notice for $920 and stripped of 10 points due to double demerits still being in force in NSW.
