In section one men, Wangaratta hosts Forrest Hill Cats, with Doug Smith, Brendan Liddell, Rod Wurtz and Mick Reid to play a role for their respective teams.
Forrest Hill Eagles take on Wodonga Bulldogs, with SPD Blues to face SPD Hilfiger.
In the ladies, Wodonga Diamonds, led by Emily Price, are at home to Forrest Hill, with Sally Bulle to lead last summer's premiers.

SPD squares off against winter premiers Wodonga Larrikins, with Wodonga Aces to host Thurgoona Jade.
Section two men sees Wodonga Raiders host Thurgoona Sharks, Forrest Hill Galahs take on Albury Gold, Sacred Heart Gold play SPD and Albury Blue clash with Wodonga Bushrangers.
Wodonga Pirates, Forrest Hill Blues, SPD, Glenly Gold and Thurgoona Wolves are against Wodonga Knights, Albury Blue, Thurgoona Bears, Albury Gold and Wodonga Eagles in section three.
Remaining sections and junior pennant commence on October 19, while Tuesday ladies pennant starts on October 15.
The second event on the North East Veterans calendar is on Sunday at Wangaratta with play from 9.30am, while the first of the junior Sportspower tournaments is at Albury on October 27.
