BRONSON Schofield has underlined his standing as one of the recruits of the season after claiming the Billabong Crows best and fairest.
The Yarrawonga recruit notched a dominant win after polling 57 votes with coach Al Austin runner-up on 38.
Schofield stamped himself of one of the league's best midfielders and was instrumental in the Crows contesting their first ever finals series.

Dan Finch was successful in the reserves from Daniel Smallwood while Ed Gooden took out the thirds award.
The A-grade netball was hotly contested with equal winners as well as runner-up.
Harriet Simpson and Brooke Wilson tied for the top honour with 23 votes while Brooke Morley and Bethany Moloney both finished with 16.
Brooklyn Moloney (27) edged out Gabrielle Sutcliffe for the B-grade honour.
170 people attended the vote count which was held at the Mulwala Ski Club on Sunday.
