Jacob John Schliebs wasn't at fault during the crash on Mate Street on September 27 last year.
CCTV footage shows the 33-year-old tumbling through the air before landing on the road and not moving.
His uninsured $4500 bike was destroyed and he suffered grazing and a ruptured lung.
Schliebs was taken to hospital and police searched his belongings, and uncovered a Mentos tin.
Bags of ice were inside weighing about 3.5 grams, one gram and half-a-gram, and had been labelled as such with a marker.
The total weight of 4.94 grams was enough to be charged with supply.

However Schliebs only faced a lesser charge of possession in Albury Local Court on Wednesday, along with unlicensed riding, after a charge of possessing a traffickable quantity of ice was dropped.
"It's a very serious amount," magistrate Tony Murray said, towards the upper limits of possession.
His licence had been suspended in Wodonga court about seven weeks before the crash.
Lawyer Suryan Chandrasegaran said his client had learnt a very valuable lesson from the crash.
Mr Murray fined the 33-year-old $600 and placed him on a five-month corrections order.
"You came very close to going to jail," he said.
Schliebs still has various charges pending and will return to court in December.
