On Sunday, October 20 she will open her stunning Wirlinga garden to the public to raise funds for Albury homelessness agency Yes Unlimited.
Ms Doolan said she had toyed with the idea of holding a fundraiser last year to support a worthwhile local organisation.
She settled on focusing her efforts around preventing youth homelessness because she knew of too many young people battling with mental health issues.

"There wouldn't be a family I know who doesn't have a young person with mental health issues ... it's an epidemic," she said on Thursday as citizens across the globe united for World Mental Health Day.
"I thought, 'Where does a 14-year-old in Albury go if they don't have supports in place?'
"I knew about (youth mental health organisation) headspace and a few people had told me about The Hub and collaborative work of Yes Unlimited.

"They actually try to intervene to prevent kids from becoming homeless, to get them back into school and engaged with their community - and I just thought, 'Yes!'"
The garden at the Doolan property, Annaconda, is less than 20 years' old and began with plantings of gum trees.
"It has evolved," Ms Doolan said.
"I have a mix of native and non-indigenous plants; we have to be water-wise because it's a farm.
"Among the highlights are the oak trees and rocks sourced from the property."
Because of its rural roots, visitors should not expect a pristine green lawn.
"But the view is sensational," Ms Doolan promised.
"Every day I just look around me and love the setting."
Yes Unlimited's chief executive Di Glover this week enjoyed a sneak peek at the garden, which will allow the organisation's many projects to blossom.
"To have an individual member from the community offer this out of the blue is such a thrill," Ms Glover said.
"It means our work is becoming more visible; this will provide extra activities our funding doesn't cover."
Ms Doolan hopes to raise $4000 from the event.
- Annaconda, 37 Annaconda Lane, Wirlinga will be open 10am to 2pm. Entry $20 with refreshments.
