The five kilometre event raising money for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation in honour of organiser Sheila Smith's best friend Tessa Calder has raised more than $16,000 with more expected to come in on the day.

Ms Smith said they are expecting 250 people to take part.
Wrist band collection starts at 8am with the event kicking off at 9am from the park across from the Albury Swim Centre car park.
