The Sharks and Pool Pirates will go head-to-head in the women's competition, however last season's association best and fairest and highest goalscorer, Sharks' Leah Dodd, said both sides will look different this time round.

"I think people have come and gone from both teams and there's a few juniors coming up as well, so we're not sure what to expect," Dodd said.
The women's competition is also set to expand this season with the introduction of two Canberra teams and a potential Wagga side, with games to be played in Wagga once a month.
"They're a bit unknown in terms of what to expect, but that will push everyone a bit more and allow for more pathways for juniors, which is exciting," Dodd said.
Sharks and Pool Pirates will also meet in the men's competition this weekend.
