Leah Dodd was best for Sharks with seven goals and was well supported by Brooke Dickie and Elyse Boyer in defence.
Dodd said it was nice to start the season off with a win.
"In round one everyone's testing the waters a bit and some people have had more pre-season training than others, so everyone's getting back into the swing of it," Dodd said.
